The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) is Johns Hopkins University's central resource for institutional data analysis and business intelligence. OIR is charged with gathering and analyzing data about the university and its peers to inform strategic initiatives and decision-making for the President, the Provost, and other university administrators.
OIR also compiles information on students, faculty, and staff for federal, regional, and state reporting requirements, participation in national educational consortia and for national and international rankings. We work in close partnership with institutional research teams and data stewards in each of the university's divisions.
In the tabs above, you will find interactive dashboards about our university. We regularly update this site based on the needs of our stakeholders and their patterns of usage. Your feedback will help us improve our offerings. If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please contact us with a data request.
